Last couple weeks, i joined the Live Earth Campaign: the mission of the SOS campaign is to empower individuals to change their consumer behaviors and motivate corporations and political leaders to enact decisive measures to combat the climate crisis. The message of SOS is that everyone, everywhere can and
must Answer the Call to solve the climate crisis.




The SOS campaign's identity and language is based on
the international horse code distress call:
three dots, followed by three dashes, followed by three dots. (LOL)

The SOS signal will be used as a continuous call to action to prompt individuals,
corporations and governments around the world to Answer the
Call with immediate and sustained action.

The SOS campaign is using a powerful multimedia platform - short films,
television and radio PSAs,
an interactive web experience, books, the Live Earth concerts themselves -
to provide a global audience with the tools to tackle the climate crisis.

Despite the addition of Guinness, these cakes are not at all bitter; instead, the beer adds richness and moisture, and balances the sweetness of the sugar. Working from another Nigella recipe, this one the Guinness Cake from Feast, I substituted brown sugar for white to add depth of flavor, and made tiny cakes instead of a large one in a springform. Topped with a cream cheese glaze, these are a crowd-pleasing, not-too-sweet dessert (and, if you call them muffins instead of cupcakes, and play up the beer angle, you can easily pass them off to guys). They’re also super-easy.

Nature Inspires Building Design

Camouflage, or cryptic coloration, is something living organisms have developed over millions of years in order to remain indiscernible from the surrounding environment.


Inside, the materials are organic and neutral. Wood decking and paneling cover the inside and outer reaches, while neutral colors blend rooms into a seamless array of angles and hard wood furnishings. But perhaps what’s more inspiring, is the building’s impact.

It’s an idea based on nature – to evolve with nature, and to mimic the concept of nature. Something in our opinion, there should be more of.
