The ‘Meeraboo-2007 ST-1’ side table

The ‘Meeraboo-2007 ST-1’ side table, with its built in light source and storage compartment,
explores the notion of integrated systems where its components having contradicting qualities.
There is a dichotomy between the curvilinear lower portion of the table (Q-Tips),
and the hard edge linear shape of the tabletop.
A vertical vent stack protruding through the tabletop plane suggests reconfiguration and adaptation.

The glowing orb underneath the table projects light through a hole in the table onto your
ceiling to provide a small amount of light.
The orb itself is the perfect place to drop pocket-junk like your keys, watch, wallet, iPhone, etc etc.
